Psychological Health & Safety
From Awareness to Action
The people who work in health and community services give enormously of themselves every day – and that kind of work takes a toll. Compassion fatigue, vicarious trauma, chronic stress, and burnout are not just personal struggles; they are workplace safety issues that carry real consequences for individuals, teams, and the organizations that depend on them.
AWARE-NS’s Psychological Health & Safety program meets that reality head-on. Through interactive discussions, case studies, and scenario-based learning, this program equips leaders and frontline staff alike with the practical tools to recognize, respond to, and reduce psychological risks in the workplace – building a culture where every person feels safe, supported, and valued.
